Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable on a weekly basis.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss reports.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring all withholdings and taxes are calculated correctly.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are supported by proper documentation.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Online and Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Experience with Xero or Sage is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
