Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Process and issue invoices, ensuring accurate posting to client ledgers.
- Assist with payroll processing and year-end tax preparation support.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Generate and analyze financial reports for management review.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to facilitate month-end and year-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software is required.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
