Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing, tax preparation, and year-end close activities.
- Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and compliant with GAAP standards.
- Support the finance team with budget analysis and financial forecasting.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in an immediate hire capacity.
