The Role
In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients. You will manage daily financial transactions, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support our team with month-end close processes. If you have a strong background in accounting software and a keen eye for detail, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare and send monthly invoices to clients and process vendor bills promptly.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Reconcile credit card statements and maintain fixed asset schedules.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
- Assist with payroll processing and maintaining general ledger accounts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Pro or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Experience with Bill.com or similar AP automation tools is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
