Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
- Process payroll and manage payroll tax filings and reporting.
- Review and reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account inquiries and status updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage Intacct required).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and MS Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Experience with payroll processing is highly preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
