Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced individual to handle our day-to-day financial operations, ensuring our books are up-to-date and accurate. If you have a passion for numbers and a desire to grow within the finance sector, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, general ledgers, and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure all tax filings are submitted accurately and on time.
- Process vendor invoices, verify expenses, and maintain organized filing systems.
- Collaborate with management to provide insights on financial performance and variances.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
