Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, monthly financial statements, and balance sheets with high accuracy.
- Transaction Management: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed timely and accurately.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, including tax filings and compliance checks.
- Bookkeeping Software: Manage daily operations using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to all financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; high school diploma with significant relevant experience is also acceptable.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience is required.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage Intacct is mandatory.
- Excel Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to detect discrepancies in financial data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues professionally.
