Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and reports for management review.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll.
- Inventory Management: Track inventory levels and assist with periodic stock counts.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Tools: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) are highly preferred.
