Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation support.
- Organize and file financial documents and invoices.
- Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage (Certification preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly.
- Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
