As our Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will handle everything from daily transactions to complex reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare financial statements.
- Assist with payroll processing, including tax filings and deductions.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Maintain general ledger records and ensure all entries are properly documented.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting is a plus.
