Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare comprehensive financial statements.
- Maintain and update general ledgers and fixed asset schedules with precision.
- Assist with payroll processing, tax preparation support, and year-end close procedures.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts to resolve discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional support to the finance team and management regarding budget queries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct errors quickly.
