Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage daily invoicing, process payments, and reconcile vendor accounts.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Record financial transactions accurately and update the general ledger monthly.
- Bank Reconciliation: Review bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end audits.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll for multiple employees and ensure tax filings are up to date.
- Compliance: Stay current with accounting standards and tax laws to ensure full compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 2-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors and maintain high accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Integrity: High level of confidentiality and ethical standards.
