Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Support the month-end close process and assist with tax preparation documentation.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in a small business environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online or Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct errors.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
