Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate tax withholdings.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform account analysis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and basic tax preparation.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
