Responsibilities
- Record Keeping: Accurately record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledgers.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure records match.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, issue payments, and collect payments from clients.
- Payroll Support: Assist with basic payroll processing and maintaining employee records.
- Reporting: Generate basic financial reports and assist in preparing monthly statements.
- Organization: Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Communication: Liaise with team members and external vendors regarding account status.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior bookkeeping experience required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) is highly desired.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday.
