Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Prepare and post monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation documentation.
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
- Experience with payroll processing systems (ADP, Gusto, or OnPay).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
