Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process payroll accurately and assist with payroll tax filings.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and filing systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel skills required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with various departments.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
