Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure data accuracy.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain the general ledger and support the month-end close process.
- Reconcile inventory and other balance sheet accounts.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing and inquiries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
