Responsibilities
- Reconcile Financial Statements: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Accounts Management: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate collections.
- Payroll Support: Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing and tax document preparation (W-2s, 1099s).
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and variance analysis for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records comply with federal and state regulations and internal policies.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding their financial statements.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience required.
- Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage Intacct.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for discrepancies and errors.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
