Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Manage payroll processing and tax filing documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial strategy and forecasting
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Deep understanding of multi-state tax compliance (LA/VA focus)
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
