Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate collections.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, financial statements, and balance sheets.
- Bookkeeping Software: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to record transactions and manage payroll data.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Expense Management: Review and process expense reports and invoices for approval.
- Client Communication: Provide excellent service to clients by answering financial inquiries and providing detailed reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online or Xero is required; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure accuracy in data entry.
