Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card processing to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll transactions and manage tax filings for clients.
- Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Xero to manage client accounts and track expenses.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
