Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for client efficiency
- Support annual audits and tax preparation processes
- Manage vendor relationships and payment processing
- Adhere to GAAP and industry-specific compliance standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required
- Proven track record of handling multi-client portfolios
- Excellent attention to detail with error-free financial reporting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license for occasional client visits
