Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheets for review
- Assist with tax documentation and quarterly reporting preparation
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for daily transaction recording
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent certification (e.g., AIPB)
- Proven ability to meet daily deadlines with 100% accuracy
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance
- Exceptional Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license for occasional client visits
