Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions daily
- Prepare financial statements and balance sheets weekly
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Implement internal controls to prevent fraud
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
