As a Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial data. We are looking for a proactive individual who is eager to grow with us.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements.
- Process payroll and ensure all tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial inquiries and statements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data entry.
- Attention to detail and the ability to catch discrepancies quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
