Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly.
- Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial analysis and budget support.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
