- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure timely vendor payments
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Implement QuickBooks solutions for client financial systems
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Monitor cash flow and prepare budget forecasts
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Detail-oriented with 99.9% numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Proven client communication and problem-solving skills
