Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor payments, and track accounts receivable to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure records match financial statements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, financial statements, and budgets to support decision-making.
- Compliance: Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Client Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their financial inquiries and documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero is essential; strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) required.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and ability to detect discrepancies in financial data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
