Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and timely.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure all accounts are balanced.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger using QuickBooks Online and Xero.
- Process payroll for clients and employees accurately using ADP or similar platforms.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and support the audit process as needed.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
