Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and budgets.
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently for company employees.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and tax preparation support.
- Ensure all financial documentation is compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct errors.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting with minimal supervision.
