As a Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring that every transaction is recorded accurately and on time. You will work closely with our accounting managers to streamline processes and provide actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and balanced.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and bill payment.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
