Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and financial reports on a monthly basis.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings.
- Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash funds.
- Collaborate with clients to provide financial clarity and strategic advice.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
