Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and federal/state tax regulations
- Manage bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Collaborate with CFO to develop financial improvement strategies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Strong communication and client relationship abilities
