Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll for employees and contractors accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and tax preparation support.
- Monitor expenses and assist in budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
