- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous account reconciliation
- Implement revenue cycle optimization strategies to reduce AR days
- Train staff on billing compliance updates (HIPAA, CMS guidelines)
- Generate monthly financial reports for executive leadership
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate charge capture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Accounting
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in multi-specialty practices
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expertise in Epic EMR and Medisoft billing platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep understanding of UB-04 and CMS-1500 claim forms
