- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct insurer/patient communication
- Optimize charge entry and coding compliance protocols
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance analytics
- Collaborate with finance team on process improvements
- Ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance in all billing operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or insurance billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic, Medisoft, or comparable billing software
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP/PivotTable mastery
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Strong attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
