Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through detailed account reconciliation
- Manage accounts receivable aging reports and collection activities
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding compliance
- Develop and maintain client billing documentation
- Analyze billing data to identify process improvement opportunities
- Train staff on updated billing protocols and systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or commercial billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and billing compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field
