Responsibilities
- Prepare and send accurate, timely invoices to clients and internal departments.
- Review and reconcile billing statements to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable and manage collection efforts within policy guidelines.
- Utilize billing software (e.g., ERP systems, QuickBooks, or Salesforce) to track financial data and generate reports.
- Communicate professionally with clients to clarify billing questions and resolve payment issues.
- Assist in month-end close processes and maintain organized financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
