- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and commercial payer regulations
- Generate monthly financial reports and KPI dashboards for leadership review
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify documentation accuracy and coding compliance
- Implement process improvements to reduce claim rejection rates by 15% annually
- Train junior staff on billing systems and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Proficiency in Epic, Medisoft, or similar RCM software
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex claim resolution
- Experience with electronic claim submission via clearinghouses
