Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital or large clinic setting
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR billing modules
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC-A credential required
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven track record of reducing claim denial rates by 20%+
