Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries within 24 hours
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports using Epic EMR systems
- Generate monthly billing reports for executive review
- Collaborate with collections team on overdue accounts
- Train new staff on billing protocols and compliance
- Ensure HIPAA/GRC compliance in all financial transactions
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience in Texas healthcare
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and claim scrubbing
- Proficient with Epic EMR and Medisoft software
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Strong Excel skills with pivot table expertise
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage high-volume deadlines in fast-paced environment
