Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile complex invoices with 99.8% accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable cycles and resolve payment discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize billing workflows
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA, CMS)
- Generate monthly financial reports and performance metrics
- Train junior staff on billing systems and best practices
- Implement process improvements to reduce billing errors
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of billing experience in healthcare/insurance
- Expertise in Epic, Meditech, or similar billing systems
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) or CPC credentials preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with AR aging reports and collections
