Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end medical billing processes for diverse patient populations
- Verify insurance eligibility and resolve claim den proactively
- Reconcile accounts receivable and maintain aging reports
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate ICD-10/CPT coding
- Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance metrics
- Train staff on billing system updates and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in multi-specialty practice
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in Epic EMR and Centricity billing systems
- Advanced knowledge of payer policies and CMS regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with VLOOKUP/PivotTable skills
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for patient/provider interactions
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
