Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through insurance carrier follow-up
- Generate monthly revenue reports for executive review
- Manage accounts receivable aging and collection activities
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture compliance
- Update billing systems with CPT/ICD-10 code changes
- Conduct patient billing inquiries with empathy and precision
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience required
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EMR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA and billing compliance
- Expertise in Blue Cross/Blue Cross and Medicaid billing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with Denial Management workflows
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or equivalent
