Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile medical claims with 99% accuracy
- Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries
- Ensure HIPAA and ACA compliance in all transactions
- Generate monthly financial reports for leadership
- Collaborate with coding and collections teams
- Implement process improvements for billing efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or finance
- 3+ years medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Expertise in Epic and Medisoft billing systems
- Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table mastery
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
