Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for diverse service lines
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration
- Optimize charge capture and coding accuracy to maximize revenue
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports to leadership
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOX, and internal audit requirements
- Train staff on billing systems and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical or professional services billing experience
- Expertise in Epic, Meditech, or similar EHR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software
- Demonstrated problem-solving with complex claim denials
- Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding and ICD-10
- Experience with RCM process optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare Admin, or related field
