- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous account reconciliation and documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding accuracy and documentation completeness
- Manage accounts receivable aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Utilize Epic and NextGen EHR systems for real-time claim status tracking
- Conduct quarterly billing audits and provide actionable improvement reports
- Train staff on billing processes and regulatory updates (HIPAA, CMS)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with insurance claim submission
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, NextGen) and billing software (Medisoft)
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99%+ accuracy in claim submission
- Strong analytical skills for complex account reconciliation
- Excellent communication abilities for patient and insurance carrier interactions
