- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries within 24 hours
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports monthly
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing documentation
- Collaborate with coding departments for charge corrections
- Generate monthly aging reports for management review
- Train staff on billing system updates and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience in DC metro area
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) required
- Expertise in Epic and NextGen billing systems
- Advanced knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Proven claim denial resolution track record
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration preferred
