Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for commercial and government clients
- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous account reconciliation
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure contract accuracy
- Generate monthly/quarterly billing reports for executive review
- Optimize billing workflows to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Train junior staff on billing system protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or commercial billing experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Epic EHR systems
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with AR aging reports and collections processes
